Clever Devices sought out Otava (who acquired the cloud assets of Neverfail), an Enterprise Partner in VMware’s vCloud Network, to help them accelerate the traditionally slow government procurement process and meet the ISO certification required by transit agencies to ensure public safety. Otava’s private cloud infrastructure platform provides them the reliability they require to deliver services to some of the largest municipal transit agencies in North America.
When the company sought to secure a new customer that manages transportation in the private sector, Clever Devices once again turned to Otava to help navigate a 12-month sales and procurement process.
Otava’s dedicated private cloud environment across two physical data centers helps Clever Devices guarantee continuous application protection for production applications in a private MPLS environment. This infrastructure provides a higher level of security and a true hybrid environment that supports its customer’s on-premise needs.
With With Otava’s cloud environment as the foundation for its specialized transportation software and hardware business, Clever Devices rapidly increased its time to market with new solutions. Clever Devices’ use of a powerful VMware-based private cloud and infrastructure services from Otava helped them secure a new multi-billion dollar private sector customer after a rigorous, competitive selection process. Clever Devices will now deliver intelligent transit system technology for an extensive, private network of railways, buses and vehicles serving millions of riders each year.
