Now that we’ve opened our Indianapolis data center, we’d like to get to know our neighbors. In January, Online Tech will be hosting a Colts tailgating event, and an offsite backup and disaster recovery workshop. In addition, we’ll also be hosting the Central Indiana ISSA chapter meetings throughout 2015!
The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a global organization of IT security professionals that meets regularly to speak about changes in infosec, give resources and insight to the community, and network with peers. There are over 10,000 members worldwide, and almost 100 chapters in the United States alone.
The Central Indiana ISSA welcomes anyone in the infosec community, at all levels. There are representatives from Eli Lilly, HP Enterprise Services, NCAA, Sallie Mae, Roche, IU Health, and more. Their chapter meetings are normally held on the second Thursday of each month from 5pm-7pm, and will hereby be at our Indianapolis Data Center! The chapter meetings normally have some networking and a presentation from one of the members.
