Can The Cloud Help Startups?

Blog Posts

While reading an article in the March 22nd edition of NETWORKWORLD by Jon Brodkin entitled “DEMO start-ups for the cloud”, I made note of a particularly interesting quote by Jeff Crown, president of DEMO, presenter at VenueGen, that “ this is a tough time for start-ups looking raise venture capital.”  Venture capitalists are looking for companies that are both targeting a rich market and have already demonstrated progress in winning over customers.

Since a lot of these startup companies are struggling for capital it makes sense that they would largely benefit from a CAPEX service like cloud computing and managed server type services.

Is anyone else witnessing this phenomenon?
