A Message from Our CEO: Guiding MSPs into the Future with VMware Cloud Foundation 

The past year has brought significant change to the VMware ecosystem. With Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware, many MSPs are finding themselves facing questions about continuity, customer impact, and how to adapt to a new licensing and partner model. These changes are real, and I know firsthand they can feel disruptive.

VMware Cloud Foundation: The New Path Forward 

As they’ve recently re-stated, Broadcom’s strategy is clear: VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) is now the single, integrated platform for private cloud. VCF combines compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and management in one stack. It’s designed to reduce complexity, lower costs, and give MSPs and their customers the flexibility to run workloads seamlessly across on-premise solutions, edge deployments, and authorized service provider clouds. 

This is a shift from the past. The broad VCSP and White Label programs are sunsetting on October 31, 2025. Going forward, only a select group of authorized Pinnacle and Premier partners can deliver VMware services. OTAVA is proud to be one of them.
